FOID and CCL Assistance

Updated: Dec 2, 2022

We receive dozens of calls weekly and sometimes daily from people who have not received their FOID card or Illinois Concealed carry license.

We offer assistance for those applying for FOID cards and Concealed Carry licenses.

During the month of June, the Illinois State Police received nearly 63,000 applications. In fact, during a two month period the State Police received

nearly 155,000 FOID and CCL applications combined.

There is nothing you can do but wait.

FOID applicants are waiting on average 115 days (law says 30 days).

Concealed carry applicants (without fingerprints) are waiting an average of 153 days to receive their licenses (law says 120 days).

A student called our office yesterday that waited 7 months for a change of address on their Concealed Carry license.

Good luck. Stay safe.
